CCTV Headquarter Headquarters of China Central Television (CCTV) in Beijing, designed by Rem Koolhaas (OMA), has 54 floors and 234 meters, the building consists of two L-shaped towers joined at the top and bottom at an angle forming a sort of loop. The structure has been a challenge for engineering contractors, they had to design a building plan for the two towers supported by 60 °. The towers started from the diagonally opposite corners with a plant size of 160 meters by 160 meters and linked by an L-shaped podium and finally joined at the top by a bridge on L parallel to the atrium.
