Architectural microstories contest 2012
_ This November 2012, six years since, given the scarcity of commercial offer on the subject, I decided to create a specific line of architectural products. Upon completion of half a dozen years since I thought of doing something different and with the intention of closing the circle somehow I started at the time with the first design Less is more, based on Mies' Brick House, it seemed appropriate to look for on the another slogan that comes to contradict in a fresh and sly, the Yes is more created by Bjarke Ingels and his proposal for the People's Building in Shanghai.
So it occurred to me to raise this contest with the theme microrrelatos Less is more versus Yes is more, tried to make us reflect wryly on these two slogans, imagining what these two characters could talk about. The call is presented 10 proposals came from places as diverse as Canaries, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Madrid, with very different proposals. After a fun voting in the party for the new models, in Fetamad held in store. with arrivals online votes until the last hour of voting scheduled closing, these are the results of competition of architectural microstories:
First prize for: CHANGE YOUR MIND, Adrian Sepiurca.
... why not?, told the empty space to the brick? End
Second prize shared with the same number of votes, to: Brickestein by Jorginho and LESS VS. JESS by Paul Vigil.
